Automotive electrical fuses from DTC
Automotive electrical fuses (auto fuses) are used to protect the electrical circuits in a vehicle from damage due to overloads. The range at DTC is designed to interrupt the flow of electricity when a specific current flow level is exceeded. Fuses from us are available in a variety of shapes, sizes, and ratings, so it is important to choose the right fuse for your vehicle. What auto fuses are available?
Choose from blade fuses, PAL fuses and torpedo fuses, which are all discussed below:
Blade fuses
Our standard automotive blade fuses are available in amp ratings from 1 amp up to 40 amps and are sold in packs of 50. These are also sold in a box of 105 assorted blade fuses.
Also available are mini automotive blade fuses, we sell these in 2 amps to 40 amps sizes and these are available in packs of 25. We also sell a mixed assortment of 100 mini blade fuses.
PAL auto fuses
PAL auto fuses are a type of blade fuse used primarily in European vehicles. They have a rectangular shape with two blades on the top, which fit into the fuse box in the vehicle.
We sell the following PAL auto fuses all in packs of 10:
- Type 293 – 20, 40 and 60 amps and
- Type 294 – 50, 60 and 80 amps
Also, available to buy are an assorted pack of 20 PAL auto fuses.
Torpedo fuses
Torpedo automotive fuses are cylindrical-shaped fuses used in automotive applications. They are commonly used to protect the electrical system in cars, trucks, boats, and other vehicles.
Our torpedo fuses are available in 5, 8, 16 and 25 amps and are sold in packs of 100. We also sell an assorted pack of 400 torpedo fuses in 5 to 25 amps.
