The automotive industry is experiencing very challenging times – this can be reflected no better than in the way car manufacturers approach the use of composites. Large-volume manufacturing spends vast amounts on equipment to procure and commission vehicles, though it can be even more costly to change a component post-design. Advanced Composites in Construction Birmingham, Tuesday 3rd to Thursday 5th September 2019
The 9th annual Advanced Composites in Construction event returns to Birmingham, where it will be focusing on hot topics within the construction industry. The main highlight will be the use of fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composite materials in new and existing all-FRP structures as well as strengthening, refurbishment and reinforcement applications in traditional infrastructure.
The 3 day conference attracts practicing engineers, asset managers, researchers and representatives of regulatory bodies.
