We are now looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing team as the company continues to expand.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team with day-to-day administrative tasks and with specific responsibility for ensuring our product range and customer data is centralised, up-to-date, and accurately represented across all marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Administration: Support the marketing team in developing campaigns and delivering activity in line with the strategy and plans to drive awareness, engagement and sales and attending internal and external meetings as required.
- Product Database Management: Ensure all product data, including descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing, is accurate, complete, current and consistently maintained across all marketing platforms, including the website, ecommerce and printed materials.
- New Product Administration: Take responsibility for adding new products into the database, ensuring they are accurately and fully represented on all relevant platforms and generating barcodes, labels and other relevant materials including packaging for exclusive brands.
- Customer Database Management: Manage our customer and prospect CRM system, ensuring accurate segmentation, lead scoring, and up-to-date contact information for targeted marketing campaigns, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations.
- Data Accuracy & Reporting: Regularly audit and cleanse data to improve data integrity and provide accurate insights for marketing campaigns, ensuring there is only one source of information for both Products (PIM) and Customers (HubSpot).
- Customer & Market Insights: Run regular surveys with customers, monitor market trends and opportunities and review competitor activity to provide insights to share across the company and inform marketing activities.
- Product Catalogue Production: Lead the development of the annual physical product catalogue, ensuring all information is accurate and included.
- Marketing Budget Reconciliation – Support the team in managing budgets, recording all expenditure centrally and raising POs as needed. Reconcile expenditure vs budgets monthly.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in managing accuracy of large databases or product catalogues is essential.
- Proficient in using Microsoft software including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook & Sharepoint. Experience of using marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, WordPress, WooCommerce, Monday, Trello & Canva is desired.
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) Systems or similar product data platforms is a strong advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data while ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple channels.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams, including marketing, sales, customer service and purchasing, plus external agencies and suppliers.
- Knowledge of how data and product information are used in various marketing channels, including digital, email, social media, and print.
- Able to identify and proactively resolve issues related to data accuracy, product representation, and customer segmentation.
