Mark Francis recently won our prestigious Team Member Of The Month award for August after making the smooth transition from purchasing to customer service with minimal disruption to the business.
Having managed the purchasing department for over 3 years, Mark’s impressive product knowledge and attention to detail were noticed and awarded with a promotion to Key Account Manager.
Mark’s story at DTC started when he joined the firm as a Paint Mixer back in 2013, his keen eye for detail, admin abilities and dedication to the task at hand quickly led to a promotion across to assisting the Purchasing Dept.
Mark fully appreciates the family atmosphere here at DTC and enjoys being a part of the close-knit team where everyone is eager to assist one another.
“The directors treat each person as an individual and develop the staff to ensure that the business potential is maximised” explains Mark. “Some people think I’m mad commuting from Swindon every day, but I feel the DTC philosophy and team make the journey worthwhile” he added.
Mark’s favourite product is the BEST L75 UHS Clear Coat Lacquer “..is a fantastic product that has been developed with the highest of quality in mind which enables the end user to produce a first class finish to their craftsmanship” he explains.
Not only is Mark a key member of the team here at DTC, he is also a dedicated member of the Gloucestershire Special Constabulary where he holds the rank of Inspector. When not helping DTC’s top customers or solving crimes, Mark can be found supporting his local football club or coaching the local children’s football team.
