Are Delton’s New £49 Air Tools A Bargain?

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”525″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]DTC launch an innovative new range of air tools from Delton Air after a positive response throughout the UK with the 2016 collection. But will the latest range continue to win approval in the highly competitive world of air tools?

The new range includes a 3/8” air drill, reciprocating air saw, and a 20mm air belt sander- all with features which should appeal to just about anyone with an air compressor or thinking about investing in one.

Air tools (often referred to as pneumatic tools) really make a lot of sense in numerous environments, perhaps none more so than a paint shop where an air compressor is required to operate modern high end spray guns such as those produced by Anest Iwata. The lightweight nature of air tools allows the operative to use them for extended periods without the fatigue and hassle of changing and recharging batteries for standard power tools.

Paint shops across the country are already becoming increasingly familiar with some of Delton’s popular entry level air tools such as the versatile 10mm air belt sander. Perfectly suited for shaping and finishing work, the pneumatic belt sander proved to be successful throughout the boat building industry as well as auto body repair centres.

We’re excited to continue working closely with Delton Air to deliver premium air tools at entry level prices. The top brands appear to be pricing themselves out of the market, substantial price increases are forcing tool distributors to either take the loss or seek alternatives.” Explained Tim Wakeford, Managing Director of DTC.

Delton Air are becoming a well trusted name in the air tool scene, when some of our larger customers started placing repeat orders of a hundred plus Delton tools we knew we were on to a winner.” Added Mr Wakeford.

The latest air tool range from Delton require the standard ¼” NPT (PT) air inlet and operate best at 90 psi (6.3 bar). Delton claim that many years of development and precision engineering processes have resulted in their most ergonomic design yet, this combined with the lightweight tools weighing in between 0.6-1.5kg could make them a serious contender.

Delton Reciprocating Air Saw

A lightweight and versatile air saw which cuts up to 2mm of steel and 2.5mm of aluminum. Offering a handy easy change blade function which allows for a quick no nonsense changing of saw blades and modern vibration reduction technology. This reciprocating air saw has a 10mm stroke and operates at 10,000 RPM and weighs only 0.61kg.

With low vibration and super lightweight construction you certainly get a lot for your money with this innovative reciprocating saw.

Delton Heavy Duty Air Drill

This durable and reliable air drill is well armed with 2 stage trigger operation, reversible drill action and comfort grip handle to allow for extended use.

3/8” drill capacity and weighing in at 1.15kg it is still a super lightweight option if compared with the battery powered alternatives.

10mm Air Belt Sander

Perhaps the more impressive looking addition to Delton’s exciting new range, the 10mm belt sander is highly versatile and designed for shaping and finishing work. The 10mm narrow head is well suited for combating awkward angles and shapes for things like car bodywork.

Again, the new belt sander boasts a highly ergonomic design and one handed trigger control will prove popular for users.
