We’ll go through the range roughly in order, starting with the filler capable of filling the biggest defects and holes right through to the fine fillers and specialist applications.
BAXT F10 Fibreglass Repair Paste
With its chopped-strand glass fibre reinforcing, BAXT F10 filler is the very best product for filling deep holes and bridging gaps. This is ideal for large repairs and also works very well as a mould repair.
The superior adhesion and tack-free finish makes it easy to apply and sand, and can be directly overcoated with paint or a finishing filler.
BAXT S9 Lightweight Deep Fill Filler
BAXT S9 filler is perfect for large, deep repairs where a quick, good quality finish is needed. While not as structurally strong as the BAXT F10, it is optimised for a great finish, and doesn’t need a finishing filler or glaze.
With no shrinkage and no pinholes, it’s a fast and effective solution for larger jobs.
BAXT S8 Smooth Deep Fill Filler
Another product in the range for bigger repairs, the BAXT S8 filler is optimised for good adhesion, smooth spreading and a great non-stick surface for easy finishing, and works well on many difficult surfaces including galvanised steel, metal and GRP.
This product has the added benefit of curing well at low temperatures, ideal for outdoor jobs in the colder months.
BAXT G7 Fine Finishing Filler
Made from an advanced polyester resin, BAXT G7 filler has excellent adhesion to most surfaces and is great for filling stone chips and other small defects.
It finishes up very well and can be sanded wet or dry.
BAXT S3 Extra Smooth Stopper
Ideally suited to skimming and very fine finishing, BAXT S3 filler makes removing defects and pinholes quick and easy. It adheres to most surfaces, making this a real all-rounder.
The advanced formulation and hardener mean that this product cures very hard even at low temperatures.
BAXT GLAZEfil
BAXT GLAZEfil is the newest product in the range, and is a fast-drying, self-smoothing polyester finishing filler. The lightweight formulation excellent self-levelling properties make this product very easy to use.
The pouch design with a spout on the top ensures almost no wastage.
BAXT CARBONfil
BAXT CARBONfil is a specialist filler, specially designed for filling carbon fibre defects. It has very high elasticity and flexibility, matching the particular requirements of carbon fibre components.
It’s available in two versions – black and clear. The black version has an excellent match to carbon fibre and can be clear coated to retain the original black visual aspect.
The clear version is excellent for even smaller repairs as it’s virtually invisible when applied and clear coated.
A BAXT filler for every application
The BAXT Filler range has a product for every application, from large, deep repairs to very specialist fine-finishing applications.
For large fibreglass repairs, BAXT F10 is ideal, and the BAXT S9 and S8 are perfect for deep fills.
